As we reach the conclusion of the 22/23 Premier League season Arsenal find themselves in pole position with a 5 point lead over Manchester City with only 10 games remaining. But who will be crowned champion?
Arteta’s adept Arsenal closing in
For the first time in 19 years it seems that Arsenal have a real chance to lift the Premier League title. After surprising everyone and outperforming expectations not many can say they saw this coming at the beginning of the season. Arsenal who came in as weak UCL qualifying contenders have not finished inside the top 4 alone for almost 7 years. Arsenal’s star man Bukayo Saka has hit the form of his life at the perfect time and looks likely to lead his side to the very end.
Hat-trick Harland hits 40
For the first time in history a player has hit 40 goals by March in English football. Erling Haaland bagged his eighth goal in 4 days after securing yet another hat trick in Man City’s win over the weekend. As the premier league season comes to a close Haaland is fitter and sharper than ever and looks like he can score every time he touches the ball. Man City will need him dearly if they are to catch Arsenal and secure their third consecutive premier league title an achievement that has only been done once by Man United by in 2006-2009.
